Independent organizations and corporations offer a variety of scholarships!

For our students, we have collected a listing of current scholarships below, including application deadlines and requirements and direct links to each organization's websites. 

 

SALLIE MAE 'COMPLETING THE DREAM' Scholarships

Deadline: Decemeber 6, 2024

The Sallie Mae Completing the Dream Scholarship Program helps under-resourced and underrepresented students and those from historically underserved communities complete their post-secondary education.

A one-time scholarship of up to $2,500 to help complete their post-secondary education program.

By 2024, will award nearly 800 Completing the Dream Scholarships totaling $1.95 million, to help students from underserved communities complete their dream of higher education.

IGrad Scholarships

Army ROTC Scholarship Program

Deadline: Open

ROTC awards scholarships to hundreds of students, regardless of families' financial status. Based solely on merit, these scholarships pay up to $68,000 for tuition and fees. Each scholarship also includes an annual book allowance and a stipend of up to $4,000 a year.

Swiss Benevolent Society

Deadline: Open

The Swiss Benevolent Society of San Francisco awards several scholarships to students of Swiss descent demonstrating financial need and academic excellence. The students must be seeking admission to accredited institutions of higher learning. Contact Swiss Benevolent Society for more information. PG&E Better Together STEM Scholarship

Deadline: The application deadline is late Spring

$2,500-$10,000 awards, see link below for eligibility requirements 


PG&E is offering Better Together STEM Scholarships to students pursuing science, technology or engineering studies.  Application opens on April 28 and will be open through late in the spring.
Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll in full time undergraduate study in an eligible STEM field (see below). Nontraditional students who are returning to school to finish their degree or planning on attending for the first time are encouraged to apply.  
Eligible majors include: Engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial, environmental, power and/or energy); Computer Science/Information Systems; Cyber Security and Environmental Sciences.

AAUW DAW Community Local Scholarship

(Danville, Alamo, Walnut Creek)

Deadline: March 1 (annually)

$2,000 award, open to individuals who identify as women who will be juniors, seniors, or graduate students at an accredited 4-year college/university or technical school in the fall of 2025. Applicants must have attended a high school in Danville, Alamo or Walnut Creek, CA, or currently reside or work in these locations.

Schwab Advisor ServicesTM and the Charles Schwab Foundation created the RIA Talent Advantage® Student Scholarship to help remove financial barriers, advocate for diversity and open doors for future talent within the independent registered investment advisor (RIA) industry.
